Vaidya Barot is known internationally for teaching the fundamental principles of Ayurveda and their application in daily life. He lectures in many conferences all over the world advocating the holistic approach of Ayurveda, Yoga and meditation as a method for stress management and human fulfillment in the modern world.

He has been a leading Ayurvedic practitioner in the UK where he had established a prestigious practice.

Together with Dr Nikolaos Kostopoulos (Holistic Health Centre, Athens, Greece), he conducted research in Miami University (USA) to develop an effective formulation of herbal cream for burn management.

They also collaborated with the Banaras Hindu University (India) and the Civil Hospital of Ahmedabad (India) to conduct clinical research in the management of post-burn hypertrophic scars.

Under his guidance Thermal Microcautery has been practiced successfully and in a scientific way on more than 40,000 patients at Global Agnikarma Centre, Ahmedabad, India.

Dr Nikolaos Kostopoulos

Dr. Nikolaos Kostopoulos qualified at Athens Medical University, Greece. He worked in the Renal Unit of the Naval Hospital in Athens, in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital of Chest Diseases in Athens and in the Respiratory Unit of the Manchester Royal Infirmary in England.

He is a member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in England and of the Hellenic Homeopathic Association in Greece.

Dr. Kostopoulos was introduced to Ayurveda by Vaidya Asvin Barot and, in collaboration with him, he practiced privately in Harley street in London (UK) for 10 years combining Ayurveda and modern medicine.  He established the Holistic Health Centre in Athens in 1999.

In addition to running his medical practice, Dr. Kostopoulos is involved in ongoing research within the field of psychosomatic disease and stress management through Ayurveda.

Dr Kostopoulos applies Thermal Microcautery to selected patients at Holistic Health Centre in Greece and is involved in research and application of Thermal Microcautery in migraine and chronic pain.

He is a member of the Editorial Review Board of JAIM (Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine). He regularly participates in International conferences and has given lectures in the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Japan, Canada and India promoting a modern, scientific approach to Ayurveda.

Consultant Pain Physician & Anaesthetist at the Dept. of Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine, Adelaide & Meath Hospital (AMNCH) since 1998. Chairman of Department 2002-2006. Director of the Multi-disciplinary Pain Service since 1998 including Ulysses the multidisciplinary pain management program.

Lecturer in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, Trinity College, University of Dublin. Examiner in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine Diploma at the College of Anaesthetists. Vice-chairman Medical Board AMNCH 1999-2002 and Hon. Secretary 2002-2005. President of the Section of Anaesthesia at the Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland 2000-2004.

Dr. Power was introduced to Thermal Microcautery (TMC) by Vaidya Asvin Barot and together with Dr. Nikolaos Kostopoulos, is collaborating with the Global Agnikarma Centre.

Dr. Power has applied Thermal Microcautery (TMC) to some of his chronic pain patients in Ireland. He is involved in research and application of Thermal Microcautery (TMC) in migraine and chronic pain.

Dr Sudhir V. Shah

Dr. Sudhir V. Shah, MD, DM (Neurology) is a leading neurologist, practicing in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India for 31 years.

He is Professor and Head of the Department of Neurology at KM School of Post-Graduate Medicine and Research, Sheth V. S. General Hospital, Ahmedabad, and Director of Neurosciences at Sterling Hospital, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He is a teacher for DM Neurology at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel ISMR (hospital) and the NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad.

The Government of India has awarded him the fourth highest civilian honor of the Padma Shri in 2016 for his contributions to medical science. He is also recipient of prestigious Dr. B. C. Roy award, in the category of eminent medical teacher. He has also received Fellow Ship award of IAN i.e. FIAN in 2018.

He is involved into National and International clinical research-Drug trials in various Neurology subjects like Vascular dementia, Epilepsy, Migraine, Parkinson’s disease, Neuropathy etc….

Dr. Sudhir Shah is involved in scientific research for the management of migraine with the use of TMC (Thermal Microcautery).

He is a scientific advisor to Global Agnikarma Centre (India). He coordinates with Dr. Camillus Power (Ireland) and Dr. N G Kostopoulos (Greece) in research for the scientific application of TMC in chronic pain and migraine.

Dr Eleni Papageorgiou

Dr. Eleni Papageorgiou graduated from Athens Medical University in 1984.

She worked for 4 years in hospitals in Greece in the departments of internal medicine, psychiatry and neurology.

She has done neurological research at the John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, U.S.A.

Since 1995 she has been working as a consultant Neurologist in N.H.S. hospitals in Greece and in the last 14 years she is a Senior Consultant and Director in the neurology clinic of the Athens Hospital, G.Gennimatas specializing in migraine, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, dementia and stroke patients.

She is currently the Director of the headache clinic in the Athens General Hospital, G.Gennimatas, Greece.

Dr Papageorgiou has applied Thermal Microcautery to some of her migraine patients in Greece. She is involved in research and application of Thermal Microcautery (TMC) in migraine management.
